Tabarka
Tabarka is a town on Tunisia's north west coast, where outstanding mountains meet the Mediterranean. The ten, eleven and twelve day journeys spend their third night here, at La Cigale or Dar Smail, before heading inland to Dougga the next morning.

Visiting Tabarka
Tabarka is where the journeys that go north spend a night. After the Bardo Museum, or after Bizerte on the twelve day journey, the road runs north west on scenic rural roads to Ain Draham and Tabarka. The hotels named on the sheets are La Cigale and, on the ten and eleven day sheets, Dar Smail, or similar. The next morning the journeys turn inland: to Bulla Regia and Dougga on the ten and eleven day programmes, and to Ain Draham and Dougga on the twelve.
